Vauxhall is selling off a chunk of its heritage collection in a no reserve auction in April via Manor Park Classics.
They are offered for sale as the Vauxhall heritage collection is being ‘downsized’ (again) as part of a move to a new location. The eclectic mix of classic Vauxhalls spans a range from a 1929 R-Type 20/60 to a 1990 Nova.
The sale last year of Vauxhall’s former Luton site meant the entire heritage collection was moved to a temporary home at the company’s Ellesmere Port factory whilst a new purpose-built public facing facility is finished.
In September last year Vauxhall disposed of some of the heritage fleet in order to make that move. Roger Nowell, Manor Park Classics managing director, said: “This is likely to be the final opportunity to purchase any vehicles from one of the UK’s best-known manufacturer collections.”
He believes the Vauxhalls will command huge interest, due to their provenance, condition and originality. We do too. When they’re gone, they’re gone, as they say so be quick.
