AC Cobra, the legendary British sports car maker has announced a limited run of just 12 rather special Le Mans tribute cars with a twist. In 1963, AC built two cars to compete at Le Mans, managed by none other than Sir Stirling Moss. This time around AC are committed to remaining faithful to the original design but instead of a chassis twisting V8, you guessed it they’ve gone electric. The state-of -the-art power train is said to produce torque figures of 1,000Nm which will propel the aluminium bodies car from 0-60 in 4.0secs.
