In a strong nod to the future, the judges have chosen this year's recipient of the Morris Minor Owners Club Apprentice of the Year award to be Greg Holmes of EV conversion specialists Lunaz Design. Greg spends his days converting legendary classic cars such as Bentley, Rolls Royce and Jaguar amongst others to Lithium-ion powered electric vehicles. The Heritage Skills Academy based in Bicester had this to say about the award winner; Greg Holmes has consistently produced good work both in the classroom, workshop and on online. He is a popular apprentice within the group and is always enthusiastic whether working on his own or in groups. Greg is well regarded by his colleagues and is now combining his mechanical skills with new electric technologies at Lunaz Design within the ever-changing world of classic vehicles.
Greg should be very proud of his award; he clearly has an exciting career in front of him and all of us at Evoke Classics wish him all the best for a bright future. Comments are closed.
