Land Rover Classic has announced it is producing a limited number of oven ready, “adventure-ready” Defender Works V8 Trophy vehicles.
Land Rover Classic, as the name suggests, is JLRs classics re-engineering arm. And what a job they’ve done on this bad boy. Based on the 2012/16 Defender Works V8 specification the new Works Trophy version comes with an upscaled 400bhp 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine, eight-speed automatic transmission, uprated suspension, steering and braking packages.
Just 25 Defender Works V8 Trophy will be produced in a mixture of 90 and 110 Station Wagon body styles. These are to be finished in Camel Trophy Yellow, with matching 16-inch steel wheels and contrasting black paintwork on the wheel arches, bonnet and rear door. The Trophy model comes complete with LED headlamps, a Heritage front grille, unique Land Rover Trophy badging and graphics personalised to each customer, if that is your thing.
To be honest with prices reported to be starting at over £200,000, we’d want it to come with a driver too. If you can afford to, enjoy your adventure.
